And he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
**God's Power in Our Weakness**
Have you ever felt inadequate or overwhelmed by the demands of life? It's in those moments that we may struggle to understand God's plan for us. We may wonder why we can't seem to measure up, why we're not doing enough, or why we're falling short. But the truth is, God doesn't call us to be strong or powerful in our own strength. Instead, He chooses to work through our weakness.
In Paul's life, God revealed His glory through Paul's struggles. Rather than boasting about his successes, Paul could boast about his weaknesses because that's where God showed up in his life. Paul learned that when he couldn't do it on his own, that's when God stepped in. He showed Paul that His power is perfected in our weakness, not in our strength.
**Surrendering to God's Power**
Imagine if we, like Paul, could exchange our strength for His power. Imagine if we could boast about our weaknesses, not because we're embarrassed, but because that's where God shows up. We can rest in the knowledge that God's power is made perfect in our weakness. We don't have to strive to be enough or do enough. We can simply let go and let God be God in our lives.
**Embracing the Sufficiency of Grace**
As we surrender to God's power, we discover the sufficiency of His grace. Grace is not just a feeling or a blessing; it's the very nature of God's character. It's His kindness, mercy, and love that meet us exactly where we are. So, when we feel inadequate or weak, let's not be afraid to lean into God's power. Let's learn to boast about our weaknesses, not because we're ashamed, but because that's where God shows up to shine His light.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me of Your power in my weakness. Help me to boast in my weaknesses, to surrender my strength to Your power. Help me to experience Your sufficiency in my life, and to see that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
