Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
John 8:36
Our identity is rooted in who we are in Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, He set us free from the curse of the law and the chains of sin. This means we are no longer slaves to our old nature, but we are sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our new identity is one of freedom, not bondage.
As we walk in the light of God's Word, we begin to see ourselves through His eyes. We realize that we are not defined by our past mistakes or failures, but by our standing in Christ. We are chosen, beloved, and redeemed. Our old identity is replaced by a new one - one that is rooted in God's love and mercy.
When we live out of our true identity in Christ, we experience freedom from anxiety, guilt, and shame. We are empowered to live a life of obedience, not by trying to follow a set of rules, but by surrendering to our Lord and Savior. As we walk in the light, we shine brighter, reflecting the glory of God to a world in darkness.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to see myself as You see me. Help me to understand that my identity is rooted in You and Your love for me. May I walk in the freedom and confidence that comes from being a child of Yours. In Jesus' name, amen.
